The Game
We’re playing Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition.
It’s a one-shot. That just means we start the adventure and finish it on the night. You get a whole story in one go, without needing to commit to a massive campaign.
Who it’s for
The table will be a real mix. You might be sitting next to a veteran who knows the rulebooks inside out, or someone who have never held a twenty-sided die in their life.
If you’ve always wanted to give D&D a go, you are very welcome.
How it works
Heads up: this isn't a drop-in night. We're running a set adventure with limited spaces, so you'll need to book a seat to play.
Our other games nights will be more 'just turn up'.
What you need
Just bring yourself. We have the dice, the sheets, and the pencils.
We’ll have characters ready for you to use, so you don’t need to do any homework. No need to read the rulebook or watch videos beforehand. We’ll just explain things as they happen and keep it moving.
On the night
We’ll do a quick intro, play for a couple of hours, then take a break. If you want to order dinner, T'Cure has excellent vegan, vegetarian, GF, and meat options. After that, we’ll crack on until about 10pm.
Just to be clear:
You don’t have to do "the voices", unless you want to.
You don’t have to act, unless you want to.
You can take a break whenever you want.
Booking
This is a pay what you feel event.
